This course is for English teachers who want to actively practice and develop their English to ensure it stays strong.

Dynamics of the course

The Conversation Lab is built around case studies, each lesson featuring a realistic situation designed to spark authentic discussion. Every story is told through multiple perspectives, so participants explore how context, values, and roles shape what people say and do.

Grounded in the principles of Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), each lesson functions as a communicative task: learners use language to solve problems, make decisions, or evaluate viewpoints. Through this process, meaning comes first and form emerges naturally from authentic use.

Each scenario invites reflection, debate, and language awareness. Rather than focusing on pre-taught vocabulary or grammar, language surfaces organically as participants exchange views, negotiate meaning, and articulate nuanced opinions.

It’s conversation with purpose: a space to practise real communication, uncover lexical patterns, and build proficiency through interaction and reflection.

• Synchronous

• From 4-6 participants

• Tuesdays 11am - 12pm BRT (GMT-3)

• 18 weeks | 18 hours: from January 20th to June 23rd, 2026.
