A course to develop language awareness through writing
This course is for English teachers eager to strengthen their language awareness through focused writing analysis and hands-on practice.
Writeful: Writing to Refine is a practical course designed to help learners use grammar with purpose and precision to strengthen their writing. Participants will complete weekly flipped-format tasks, analysing paragraphs and rewriting them with greater clarity, accuracy, and sophistication. Each lesson focuses on an essential aspect of grammar for advanced writing.
Through guided practice, students will:

Identify weak points in grammar and structure that compromise cohesion and clarity

Explore how grammar choices affect meaning, tone, and style in different genres of writing.

Rewrite and refine paragraphs to produce polished, effective writing.

Develop strategies to carry this awareness into their own independent writing.
The course balances analysis with active rewriting, making grammar tangible and purposeful. By the end, participants will not only recognize issues in writing but also have the tools to transform rough drafts into refined, reader-friendly texts.
